Welcome to the website of MAIN 2026, the 2026 Mediterranean Artificial Intelligence and Networking Conference. MAIN is the new name of the MedComNet (and originally MedHocNet) conference series, which has been held for 23 editions in the past.
The MAIN conference continues the tradition of the MedComNet/MedHocNet conference series that was started by Mario Gerla in Sardinia in 2002 and was held annually in beautiful locations on the shores of the Mediterranean.
MAIN is a forum for the presentation of new research results in the broad area of AI for networking, wired and wireless communication, and computer networking. All aspects of the networking and communication research areas are welcome.
MAIN has requested the technical co-sponsorship of the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc), and accepted papers will be included into IEEE Xplore. The best paper of the conference will be awarded the Mario Gerla Best Paper Award.
